Mark Dodson, MD

Associate Professor, Division of Gynecologic Oncology

Mark Dodson, MD, is an associate professor in the Division of Gynecological Oncology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of Utah School of Medicine. As a Huntsman Cancer Institute investigator, he treats gynecologic cancers and precancers.

His clinical research focuses on minimally invasive surgery and novel treatments of gynecologic malignancies. His basic science research interests include drug delivery systems, particularly for treating ovarian cancer.

Dodson received his medical degree from the Quillen School of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. He joined the University of Utah after completing his fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
