Fatigue is the most common side effect of cancer treatment, occurring in over 90% of patients. Cancer-related fatigue has many causes, including the cancer itself, cancer treatment and medication, psychological factors such as stress and anxiety, and lack of sleep, exercise, and proper nutrition. The resources below provide information about cancer-related fatigue. It is important to talk with your health-care providers so they can suggest ways to treat and manage your fatigue.

The Linda B. and Robert B. Wiggins Wellness Center at Huntsman Cancer Institute offers acupuncture, yoga, fitness programs and activities, nutrition counseling, support groups, and many other services that help manage and alleviate cancer-related fatigue and other side effects. For more information, please contact the Wellness Center at (801) 587-4585.
