In an effort to raise awareness regarding particular cancers, many
regional, national and international organizations designate a day or
month during the year to be dedicated to a particular cancer or
cancer related topic.
Each month, Huntsman Cancer Institute focuses on one or two of
these designated cancers. The Cancer Awareness Calendar overviews
contain links to the organizations sponsoring the event and details
of activities associated with it. We provide you with the HCI
perspective, events and patient services for each of these issues.
Additionally, we point you in the direction of additional resources
and information to allow you to explore the topic in greater detail.
